The fire smoke optical 2-point detector for separated areas SP-2.2 is designed for the detection of ignitions which are accompanied with the appearing of smoke in enclosed premises with separated areas (e.g. in rooms with suspended ceilings) and for the transmission of the alarm signal “Fire” to a control panel.
The detector is counted on the continuous 24-hours operation along with a control panel by 4-wire fire alarm loop with the nominal voltage 12 V.
The detector contains two independent channels (sensors) – upper and lower, that control the level of specific optical air density in the space behind the suspended ceiling and inside the principal premise. The detector forms the “Fire” signal by means of closing (opening) relay contacts.
The detector has functions of:
- Automatic compensation of dust loading with the indication of malfunctioning when the level of dust loading exceeds the maximum magnitude;
- Self diagnostics with the indication of a fault.
The detector contains two optical indicators and induces the following statuses:
- Indication of standby mode;
- “Fire” of the upper sensor;
- “Fire” of the lower sensor;
- “Fire” of the upper and lower sensors;
- Fault of the lower sensor;
- Fault of the upper sensor;
- Fault of the lower and upper sensors.
