MUSH-3

Loop matching modules

MUSH-3

The module is designed for the match of 2-wire alarm loop with fire and intrude-fire control panels operating with 4-wire alarm loop, and also to a control panel with A.C. power supply of an alarm loop.

When any of detectors activates in the 2-wire loop circuit, the module forms the “Fire” signal by spasmodic reduction of resistance in the signal line circuit of 4-wire loop of a control panel, which is indicated by the switch a red optical indicator on the module.

The module forms the “Fault” signal by the open-circuit in a signal line of a 2-wire alarm loop when detecting the following events:

  • Open-circuit of a 2-wire alarm loop;
  • Short-circuit of a 2-wire alarm loop;
  • Absence of the power voltage 12 v.

The module provides the indication of:

  • The standby operational mode with a green optical indicator;
  • The “Fault” signal with a yellow optical indicator.

The module provides the restriction of the short-circuit current of a 2-wire loop.

The module allows switching off the power supply of a 2-wire alarm loop for a short term with the help of the “Discharge” button.
