Question: How should an external device of optical alarm (EDOA) be connected to detectors SPD-3.2?
Answer: The EDOA cannot be connected to a detector because there is no individual exit for that and the EDOA cannot be brought to an electric circuit consecutively as it is prohibited by the Ukrainian standard DSTU and EN 54-7:2004.
It is possible to solve the problem in two ways:
- By means of using detectors SPD-3.10 with bases B4 and B5. Look at the details in the passport for those detectors on our site in Products section;
- By using detectors SPD-3 with EDOA, and by matching a loop with a 4-wire control panel via loop matching modules MUSH-2 or MUSH-3.
